A True Cinderella Story
Our April “Real Bride” is Kristine from Southern New Jersey. She’s one of the lucky ones—she met her handsome prince, Pat, in high school. Kristine new hers was the forever kind of love when she was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer nine years ago and Pat was right there by her side through it all. OK, we’re tearing up here!
Kristine wore Cinderella Style #205 from Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection.
You may notice pops of “Flyer’s Orange” in the bridal party’s attire. Kristine and Pat are huge Philadelphia Flyer’s fans. This couple looks like so much fun!
March’s Real Bride
Megan, our March 2014 ”Real Bride,” is a California girl who carried on her family tradition of serving in the military. She’s a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force who will start pilot training this Spring. We just love our strong military brides!
Megan met Nick, her husband, while enrolled at the United States Air Force Academy. They did not get along at first (but Megan admitted it’s because they are so much alike).
Once they got to know each other better, they realized how much they had in common. Sparks began to fly and the rest is history.
Megan and Nick were married in Colorado this past December. Her wedding colors were navy blue, pink and yellow. She wore the gorgeous Belle gown (Style #206) from Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Collection.
She truly looked like a princess. Congratulations, Megan and Nick!

How to Find Your Dream Wedding Dress at a Trunk Show
Wedding dress shopping is fun and exciting; and when bridal boutiques hold special trunk shows, that excitement is magnified.
A trunk show is when a fashion designer or design representative brings her entire collection and offers personal consultations to brides.
Many brides find their dream dress at trunk shows. Alfred Angelo’s Trunk Show Specialist, Cami Unger, gave us five tips to find THE dress at a bridal trunk show.
Make an appointment—trunk show sales can be very busy and are usually by appointment only.
Call early—ask about upcoming trunk shows as soon as you begin searching for wedding dresses. You don’t want to miss out on any deals.
Have an open mind—this is your chance to see new wedding styles for the upcoming season before anyone else. You may find a dress that you never would have considered on paper.
Look for a member of the design team to answer your questions—there is typically a design representative on site to help you find your dream dress and customize a certain style to your taste.
Come prepared—many trunk show styles are only in a particular store for one weekend. It helps to have an idea of what you want and your budget so you can take full advantage of the limited-time styles and deals.
We hope this helps all our brides-to-be out there! A bridal salon near you may be having a trunk show soon, so call today!

Dress Like a Grammy Winner
The 2014 Grammy Awards were full of fun, fashion and amazing performances. We absolutely loved Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s "Same Love" performance in which 33 couples married on air.
Of course, we adored all of the white and ivory seen on the Grammy’s red carpet. Here are some of our favorites:
Country darling Kacey Musgraves wore soft blush tiers like our Style #2451.
Madonna wore an all-white suit when she took the stage during the “Same Love” wedding—similar to our bridal suit Style #2425.
Taylor Swift looked gorgeous and ethereal, donning a peek of jewels on the bodice of her dress similar to our Jasmine dress, Style #237.
Sara Bareilles went short to long just like our Style #2425/#2463 overskirt.
Katy Perry showed a peek of leg under soft net, which is similar to our Modern Vintage Style #8529.
Which Grammy look was your favorite?
