March’s Real Bride
Megan, our March 2014 ”Real Bride,” is a California girl who carried on her family tradition of serving in the military. She’s a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force who will start pilot training this Spring. We just love our strong military brides!
Megan met Nick, her husband, while enrolled at the United States Air Force Academy. They did not get along at first (but Megan admitted it’s because they are so much alike).
Once they got to know each other better, they realized how much they had in common. Sparks began to fly and the rest is history.
Megan and Nick were married in Colorado this past December. Her wedding colors were navy blue, pink and yellow. She wore the gorgeous Belle gown (Style #206) from Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Collection.
She truly looked like a princess. Congratulations, Megan and Nick!
Fall’s Bridal Fashion Week had everyone “thinking pink” on the runway, and we were no exception. We added several gorgeous pink gowns to our 2014 collection.
We love a fashion-forward bride, daring enough to wear a kiss of color instead of the typical white frock. A number of our favorite style icons wore pink on their wedding day. Gwen Stefani, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Biel all donned the romantic hue. Would you?

What are the “it” colors for Spring 2014? Light pinks and greys, of course! These colors dominated the runways at Bridal Fashion Week.
Soft, romantic pink and grey hues look fabulous on all skin tones. Choose either color (or both) at your vintage-inspired wedding or garden ceremony.
